Fleet Management System

PIXA

Live vehicle visibility, geofencing, event-driven alerts, trip replay, driver and maintenance modules, and mobile field operations.

The problem

Fleet operations are usually run by phone. Where is the vehicle, has it arrived, why did it stop, how long was it idling, and which driver was assigned — every answer costs an interruption, and by the time it arrives the situation has changed.

System architecture

How the system is put together.

  1. Vehicle
  2. Telemetry
  3. Ingest
  4. Live map
  5. Geofence & alert
  6. Analytics
01

Telemetry ingestion

Position and vehicle data arriving continuously, buffered against connectivity gaps.

02

Live operational view

Current fleet state on a map, with the abnormal made visually distinct.

03

Geofencing & events

Zones, entry and exit events, and rules that turn raw position into meaning.

04

Trip replay

Historical routes reconstructed for investigation and dispute resolution.

05

Driver & maintenance

Assignment, behaviour indicators and service scheduling tied to the same records.

06

Mobile operations

A field-facing view for drivers and supervisors away from a desk.

Capabilities

Core capabilities.

  • Realtime telemetry
  • Geospatial
  • Event alerting
  • Trip history
  • Driver management
  • Maintenance scheduling
  • Mobile operations
  • Operational analytics

Technical overview

Built as a real-time operational interface: a continuously updating map layer, an event pipeline turning position data into geofence and status events, and an analytics layer over trip history. The demonstration runs entirely in the browser with simulated telemetry so the behaviour can be explored without a live fleet.
